Mountain Disc Golf
Frequently Asked Questions
Can we bring our dog(s)?
Of course, you can! But they must stay with you, by leash if necessary. We have A LOT of wildlife, and we don’t see them or your furbabies get hurt. We also have a lot of cacti, so watch them closely. Dogs are also not allowed in the house for the sanity of our own dog.
How long does a round take?
A typical round will take about 1 1/2 to 2 hours, depending on skill level and the number of players in your group.
What are the hazards?
Our course sits above 8000′ in elevation. If you are not acclimated to hiking at altitude, you’re going to feel it. Hiking the course is about a mile and a half to two miles of cross-country trekking. We have loose rocks and cactus all over the property. Wear good shoes, bring water, take your time and have fun!
Do you have wildlife?
Yes. All of it.
We have seen all manner of wildlife on our property, including predators like bear, coyote, fox, bobcats, badgers, and yes… mountain lions.
We also have deer that will sometimes wander through, leave them alone and they’ll leave you alone.
Want to feed the chipmunks and birds? Stop at the house and see Kristi.
